Helicopters spray disinfectant over DMZ area for third day to contain African swine fever

The South Korean military has flown in helicopters for a third day... to spray disinfectants over the demilitarized zone between the two Koreas, in an effort to contain the African swine fever outbreak.
Seven helicopters were deployed on Sunday,... and an operation is underway to hunt down wild boars in the area.
One more suspected case of African swine fever have been reported Sunday... at a farm in Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do Province.
An earlier suspected case in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do Province has tested negative.
Quarantine personnel have been sent... to disinfect the area and restrict the movement of people and vehicles.
Over a dozen cases of the disease have been reported in Korea... despite massive government efforts to prevent the disease from spreading.
