The state is in for heavy to extremely heavy rainfall as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued a red alert for the next three days.In its evening bulletin issued on Thursday, the IMD stated that moisture incursion and strong convergence in the easterly wind regime would cause fairly widespread to widespread rainfall in Bihar over the next four days and extremely heavy rain on September 29.
