two more farms in Paju reported a suspected outbreak of the disease this morning.
Three pigs died in the two farms, both of which are located within ten kilometers of the farm in Yeoncheon,... where the second case was confirmed on Wednesday.
Inspections are underway, with the results due to be announced in the coming hours.
African swine fever is highly contagious and lethal to pigs, but is harmless to humans.
The exact origin of the outbreak is still under investigation.
