MANILA - Lawyer Gigi Reyes, one of the accused in the multibillion-peso pork barrel scam, was rushed to a hospital in Taguig after suffering an anxiety attack at Camp Bagong Diwa. Director Rodencio Sta. Lucia of Taguig Pateros District Hospital said Reyes became hysterical and her blood pressure shot up, prompting her relatives to bring her to hospital. "Kinakabahan. Naninigas ang extremities ng kanyang kamay at paa at may suspetsa ang relatives na nag si-seizures daw si Atty. Reyes during that time so she was rushed to the emergency room. According to our physician, our diagnosis is more on anxiety disorder and hypertensive," he told reporters. "If the blood pressure is high, it is possible to trigger any cardiovascular attack sa puso or mas grabe na sakit," he added. Sta. Lucia said Reyes is conversant but had complained of muscle and back pains. He said Reyes will be confined at the hospital ward for now. RADIO DZMM, July 10, 2014
