Several locations around the country are set to hold quake drills today. In Manila's Roxas Boulevard, simultaneous fire emergency drills as well as the evacuation of people trapped in high-rise establishments are among the activities which will assess the country's preparedness for a major quake. The quake drill in Manila is in preparation for a quake brought about by the possible movement of the Manila Trench and the West Valley Fault.
