The government will bid out today the construction of the P35 billion Cavite-Laguna Expressway project. The Department of Public Works and Highways has given four prequalified bidders until today to submit their bids. The expressway would connect the South Luzon Expressway to the Manila Cavite tollroad expressway. San Miguel's Optimal Infrastructure Development, one of the pre-qualified bidders, says the company is carefully studying the financial viability of the project. Other pre-qualified bidders include Ayala-led team Orion, Metro Pacific's MPCALA Holdings Inc., and Malaysia's Alloy MTD Philippines. Mornings@ANC, June 2, 2014
