Violence erupts in Quezon jail, 3 hurt

MANILA - At least three inmates were injured at the Quezon provincial jail in Lucena City Wednesday morning after jail guards allegedly opened fire. The three have been brought to a hospital. It is still unclear what caused the commotion. Several civilians who were visiting some inmates were trapped after the jail went into lock down mode after the incident. Authorities say the situation is already under control.
