Ingredients:
- 1 cup Gram Dal(soaked)
- 1 cup Jaggery
- 1/2 tsp Green Cardamom Powder
- Switz Spring Roll Sheets
- 2 tbsp Refined Flour
- Water
- Oil for frying

Method:
1. Add Dal and Jaggery in the pan
2. Keep the flame on low and saute till the jaggery melts
3. Now add green cardamom powder to the pan
4. Keep stirring till the mixture(puran) in the pan becomes dry
5. Now, turn off the flame and keep the pan aside till the mixture(puran) completely cools down
6. For covering, take Switz Spring Roll Sheet
7. Cut one sheet of Switz Spring Roll Sheet into 4 parts with a pizza cutter
8. Do the same with the remaining Switz Spring Roll Sheet
9. Now cover all the Switz Spring Roll Sheet with a damp cloth
10. Take Refined Flour in a bowl and add water to make a paste
11. Mix it well and make paste with thin consistency. Keep it aside
12. Take one square piece of Switz Spring Roll Sheet and take some puran
13. Place that puran right at the center of the sheet
14. Now, take some paste with your finger and apply it to the corners of the sheet on which the puran is placed
15. To give it a modak shape, take one corner and start giving it small folds with soft hands
16. Once folded, press it from the top and twist it a little, so it gets a nice shape of a modak
17. Same way, make the remaining modaks
18. Apart from 'modak' shape, you can also give it a 'money bag' shape
19. To give Money Bag shape, same way you have to place the puran in the middle and take some paste
20. Apply that paste near the puran, and give it folds
21. Apply the paste on the outside as well, and place a long strip of sheet to it which gives it money bag shape
22. Now, fry all the modak on a medium flame
