Davidson Bangayan tells Senate: I'm not David Tan

You're lying, JPE tells alleged smuggler Bangayan Businessman Davidson Bangayan again categorically denied he is alleged rice smuggling king David Tan. At the Senate Agriculture Committee hearing on Wednesday, Bangayan admitted rice trading is just one of his businesses. He also admitted business dealings with two individuals, Mary Joyce Lim and Willy See, who were subjects of investigations on rice smuggling. Senator Cynthia Villar said Lim and See had admitted they worked for Bangayan. Justice Secretary Leila de Lima also said the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) stands by its claim that Bangayan and Tan are one and the same. Senator Juan Ponce Enrile also cited another case involving Bangayan's scrap metal business where he identified himself as David Tan. Bangayan, however, denied he claimed to be David Tan.
