MANILA -- Actress-host Kris Aquino publicly apologized to her friend Ai Ai delas Alas for not being around when the comedienne was grieving over the death of her biological mother, Gloria Hernandez. The comedienne's mother passed away after suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Aquino had just arrived from her short break in the United Kingdom with sons Joshua and James "Bimby" Yap Jr.. Meanwhile, Aquino also thanked delas Alas for her full support to "My Little Bossings." "'Yung binigay niyang suporta sa amin na kung tutuusin that festival has been hers for so long parang I just want to say thank you to her talaga for that generosity she showed Bimby. I know she said, 'Friendship, para sa iyo 'yan and para kay Vic (Sotto),'" Aquino said, referring to the comedienne's "Tanging Ina" movies, which were shown during the MMFF. "Gusto ko lang na ipa-share din at ipaabot sa lahat na that matters a lot kasi naramdaman ko sa kanya 'yung sincere na wish na maging successful ito at 'yung joy na naramdaman niya for us when it did happen," Aquino added.
