In Cebu City, patients from some hospitals spent the night on roadsides as aftershocks continue. The patients are not allowed to go back inside the hospitals until the buildings are deemed safe. Cebu Mayor Mike Rama said 10-15 structural engineers are expected to arrive today to assess structures damaged by the quake. Aside from hospitals, commercial buildings and the Santo Niño Basilica were also badly affected by the quake. "May mga tao din they ayaw nila muna bumalik ng kanilang bahay. They allowed themselves to stay beside the road or open space sa mga park at ibang available na they don't have to worry about anything under solid structure po," he said.
