Kaka arrives in Milan after Real Madrid switch
  • 5 years ago
MANILA, Philippines – Brazilian international Kaka returned to AC Milan after four unhappy years at Real Madrid. That’s almost 10 years after he first set foot on Italian soil as a fresh-faced youngster from Sao Paulo. He was given a warm welcome by fans and journalists as he walked out of the airport together with AC Milan vice president Adrianao Galliani. Kaka agreed to return to AC Milan after his stint in Real saw him go from one of the top world’s top players to an unhappy, injury-prone reserve. The 31-year-old’s dramatic loss of form has also seen him shelved from Brazil’s plans for the 2014 World Cup after he was left out of the Confederations Cup. -- Mornings @ ANC, September 3, 2013
