MANILA -- The local government of Rosario, Cavite has issued a cease and desist order for Petron's oil depot in the area following last week's oil spill. Rosario Mayor Jose Ricafrente said the closure order includes all pipelines of Petron and is not limited to the damaged pipeline. Petron, meanwhile, apologized to the residents and promised to provide assistance to those who were affected by the spill.
