President Trump mistakenly called Sean Hannity "the number one shoe."
Social media erupted with jokes and comments after President Trump mistakenly referred to Fox News' Sean Hannity as "the number one shoe."
"Has anyone noticed that the top shows on @foxnews and cable ratings are those that are Fair (or great) to your favorite President, me! Congratulations to @seanhannity for being the number one shoe on Cable Television!" Trump tweeted Saturday.
"He may be the number one shoe, but Sean Hannity has no sole," one person wrote in response.
And someone else said: "Such a good shoe depends on having the right heel."
"Shoe??? I miss having a President who could spell," wrote another Twitter user.
Typo aside, Trump's praise of Hannity comes just days after the president blasted Fox News due to some of its critical newscasters.
"The New @FoxNews is letting millions of GREAT people down!" Trump tweeted Wednesday. "We have to start looking for a new News Outlet. Fox isn't working for us anymore!"
