Growth in power generation, credit may indicate green shoots towards higher growth, says CEA

Typically world over electricity and power generation is a good leading indicator. Therefore, its growth by 8.6 percent compared to 4.3 percent earlier is something to take note of, which may indicate together with growth in credit at 12 percent that there are some green shoots towards a higher growth rate, said Chief Economic Adviser Krishnamurthy Subramanian.
