U.S.-based North Korea monitoring website 38 North has expressed concerns over signs that suggest the North is continuing to produce highly enriched uranium for nuclear weapons.
Based on commercial satellite images,... 38 North explained Wednesday that an additional accumulation of waste has been witnessed from the Pyongsan Uranium Mine and Concentration Plant since 2017.
It also said the facility, which is the regime's largest uranium mine and concentration plant,... has been in operation through late May to support the North's ongoing nuclear program.
