78-year-old Nand Lal became the face of demonetisation after he broke at outside an SBI bank in Gurgaon. Lal is a retired army-man who has reportedly served the Indian Army on the India-Pakistan border along Kashmir and Punjab.
The picture of the old man in tears went viral on social media with floods of shares and tweets.
