President Moon Jae-in has called on relevant parties to make the most out of North Korea's dialogue with South Korea and the U.S.,... which has resumed and is making progress.
He said this is an opportunity that might never come again, and actions that undermine it should be avoided.
Here's the president today in a weekly meeting with his top aides.
"We need to be cautious, like we're handling an easily breakable glass bowl. We need the wisdom and veracity to put ourselves in the other's shoes. The talks can succeed when we make mutual efforts to reduce the kind of actions that do not help dialogue."
President Moon also reiterated the message in his National Liberation Day speech last week,... that establishing a "peace economy" with North Korea is the main challenge and opportunity for South Korea.
He says it is necessary to make both countries peaceful and strong.
