It's now 100 days until the South Korean city of Busan hosts the Special Summit with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
The presidential office said Sunday that the meeting,... marking the 30th anniversary of formal relations between South Korea and ASEAN,... will be held for two days from November 25th,... followed by the first-ever South Korea-Mekong Summit on the 27th.
Here's one of President Moon's advisors this afternoon.
"Through this summit, South Korea and ASEAN member nations will seek ways to enhance the free trade order and to expand commerce as well as open markets -- especially at a time of heightened trade tensions between major economies."
The Busan meetings are the most significant international gathering to be held in Korea under the Moon administration.
They're expected to draw at least 10-thousand participants -- including the leaders of the participating countries, their delegations and representatives of business.
President Moon will be hosting an official welcoming dinner banquet on the 25th, then the general meeting and a working lunch on the 26th, followed by a joint press conference.
