Good afternoon. It's another steamy day with most of South Korea under heat wave warnings. Highs in most regions will hover around 35 degrees Celsius.

We'll need to find a cool and air conditioned place this afternoon, it will be as hot or hotter than yesterday.
There is a chance for sporadic rain in western parts of the country, so have an umbrella handy. Then from this evening, eastern regions will see heavy rain clouds moving into the country due to the indirect effect of Typhoon Krosa.
Japan is on high alert as the storm is expected to make landfall near the city of Hiroshima from today and conditions will worsen across southern Japan from Wednesday into Thursday.
Korea's easternmost Islands of Dokdo and Ullengdo and the east coast will see heavy showers into Thursday evening and the weather agency could even issue typhoon advisory for the east coast.
