During a weekly Cabinet meeting this morning,... President Moon Jae-in has called on his administration to speed up the process of enforcing government-led policies and not get swayed by external factors hindering economic growth.
"While responding to Japan's trade restrictions by gathering the capabilities of the entire nation, we need to execute policies aimed at elevating and revitalizing our economy."
The president told members of the Cabinet that cooperation among ministries should be enhanced,... so that it leads to actions that will help boost industrial competitiveness and create new growth engines.
He also said the government should solidify the footing of the fair economy and keep the people of Korea safe.
President Moon said the nation's firm economic fundamentals are superior to those of Japan,... citing credit ratings released by Fitch.
