At least 32 dead and more than 15 missing after Typhoon Lekima hits China

Powerful Typhoon Lekima hit China on August 10-11, 2019, affecting eastern provinces including Shandong, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. At least 32 people died, and more than 15 people have gone missing.  Crops and houses were damaged, transportation was disrupted, thousands of flights were cancelled and more than 1 million people were evacuated.The typhoon first hit Taiwan on August 9.
