내년부터 대학에 소재•부품 전공 확대…초중고 역사교육 강화

The South Korean government will introduce specialized majors at local universities to boost the local materials and parts industries,... in light of Japan's export restrictions on high-tech materials.
The decision was reached at a meeting of society-related ministers on Friday,... during which participants discussed countermeasures to Tokyo's trade provocations.
The government vowed to introduce such majors as early as next year... in order to foster specialists, especially in industries that are currently highly dependent on technology primarily made in Japan.
On top of that..., the government will bolster history education at schools,... and introduce field trips aimed at giving youngsters a better understanding of Korea's history.
The government has vowed to calmly overcome the crisis... and see that it becomes a period of development and growth.
