And credit card spending in Japan by South Koreans also plunged in mid-to-late July.
According to industry data,... Koreans spent around 82 million U.S. dollars on their cards there last month.
Now for all of July, that's rise of 1-point-1 percent from a year earlier, but in the fourth week it was down 5-point-3 percent... and in the last few days of the month a drop of more than 19 percent.
