Pleasantly warm, soft, and encircled by a protective wall: that's exactly how a nest should be. However, today we're not building a new home for baby birds, but looking at a new way to enjoy cheese and ham. Let's go.

You'll Need (for 6):

- 17.5 oz potatoes
- 1 egg
- 1.8 oz butter
- 1.8 oz grated parmesan
- salt and pepper
- 3.5 oz Swiss cheese
- 2.6 oz bacon

Here's How:

1. Peel and cook the potatoes. As soon as they are done, mash them as finely as possible with a fork.

2. Add the egg, butter, half the parmesan and a good pinch of salt and pepper to the mashed potato and fold all the ingredients in. Then transfer the mixture to a piping bag with a star-shaped nozzle attached.

3. Starting from the middle, pipe the potato mix into circles about three inches wide on a tray lined with baking parchment. Then add to rings of potato around the edges of the circles, forming a hollow inside.

4. Cut the cheese and bacon into cubes and use them to fill the nests. To finish, sprinkle the rest of the parmesan over the six nests and then bake them for 20 minutes at 375°F.
