Shot on Super 8 film in 1983 (as a college project), this political-thriller was made on the campus of Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey. The movie takes place in Canada, and is the story of a hit man (played by Peter Coston) hired to take out a controversial Canadian politician.
Technically speaking, it's a miracle that this movie even exists, since the original footage was destroyed many years ago. This project originally started as a "film thesis" for a film production class, my senior year in college. It evolved into what would've been a feature film. We shot about a half hour's worth of footage, and I edited the project on film, with the intentions that one day, I would have the film professionally transferred to video, so I could professionally edit it. For the time being, I copied the movie onto videotape 28 yrs ago (on Hi8 video) off a cheap telecine, with the idea of using that video footage to edit the "work print" before I made the final release print. Sadly, the original film was destroyed about 12 yrs ago, and all that exists today is the "newly digitally edited" telecine footage you see here.
