Protesters remain on the streets in Hong Kong after a day of marching against now-suspended plans for an extradition deal with mainland China.

A small group of protesters also defaced signs outside China's Liaison Office in Hong Kong -- a symbol of Beijing's rule.

As well as campaigning against the extradition bill, many protesters also want greater democracy and guaranteed freedoms in Hong Kong.
