Isolated rain in upper regions, rise in readings 071219

Good morning. We enjoyed overcast but comfortable temperatures yesterday in Seoul, but it was warm down south. Temperatures will rise today but it'll be fairly bearable considering it's Chobok, the day marking the start of the month-long period of sweltering weather that usually hits Korea.

Expect sporadic rain in some upper regions, including parts of Gangwon-do and Gyeonggi-do Provinces, during the day. The capital could also see isolated rain in the evening.

Temperature-wise, the lows are similar to yesterday, ranging from 19 to 22 degrees Celsius.

Daily highs won't be that hot, hovering in the upper twenties in most parts, 30 degrees in Daegu.

We have rain in the forecast this weekend, it will be passing showers across much of the country, so it's always best to keep an umbrella handy at this time of year.

That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
