Trump Just Called Ivanka And Pompeo 'Beauty and the Beast'

President Trump held a media event over the weekend.

President Trump referred to his daughter and White House adviser Ivanka Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as "beauty and the beast." He did so on Sunday during an address at the Osan Air Base, which is near Seoul, South Korea.  Trump invited both to the podium and as they were approaching him, he commented: "What a beautiful couple — beauty and the beast."  The comment got laughs, but Ivanka Trump's pronounced presence at both the North Korean border crossing and the G-20 summit, which occurred just prior, has reportedly created concern among many.  Christopher R. Hill, a US ambassador during the George W. Bush administration, told the Washington Post: "It looks to the rest of the world like we have a kind of a constitutional monarchy. It's increasingly problematic in terms of our credibility."
