Trump expects 'interesting' visit to DMZ

Speculation is building that President Trump might meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un during his visit to the Demilitarized Zone today.
We have our Kan Hyeong-woo at the Unification Bridge, on the road to the border village of Panmunjeom.
Hyeong-woo, what are you hearing about Trump's trip to the DMZ?

Conn-young, so what I got from the office of the press secretary at the White House is that President Trump is scheduled to leave from the U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan at 1:45 PM today and head to the Joint Security Area in the DMZ.

The U.S. leader will arrive at the JSA landing zone at 2:10 in the afternoon,... suggesting that Trump is likely to take a helicopter to the DMZ.
Though it's not clear where exactly Trump will visit in the border area,... the schedule does specifically say he's going to "view North Korea."
Trump could visit Observation Post Ouellette and look at the North through binoculars,... which is where Ronald Reagan visited in 1983 as the first sitting U.S. President to travel to the DMZ.
After that, the U.S. President is expected to meet with American and South Korean service members before leaving for the Osan Air Base to wrap up his two-day stay in South Korea.
Aside from Trump's visit to the border area,... there is speculation that President Moon might be joining the U.S. leader at the DMZ.

I have been here since 9AM this morning,... and I've seen lots of movement... including security vehicles crossing the bridge.
That's all I have for now but we will keep you updated throughout the day. Conn-young.
