E-Cigarettes Could Soon be
Banned in San Francisco Should a vote pass next week, the
California city would be the
first in the U.S. to enact
such a measure. According to NBC News, the legislation blames e-cigarettes
for the rise of "youth vaping." In a recent report, the CDC said nearly five million
students in middle and high school vaped last year. In 2017, the number
was 3.6 million. CDC's Robert R. Redfield, via statement NBC adds that city supervisors are planning to help out small businesses affected by the ban. Those who oppose it include Juul, who says the ban will leave cigarettes as the only option for adults. Juul spokesman
