SPEAKERS’ CORNER is not anything the vibrant place it once was. People seeking an alternative viewpoint, and incisive take, or a different perspective can very readily find such on the world wide web.
This talk by HUE, a long-time orator at Speakers’ Corner, was in the run-up to what was historically only the United Kingdom’s second referendum concerning continued membership of an ever-closer European economic and political union.
“I called it wrong,”admits Hue. “I thought the vote was going to go for ‘Remain’. Mind you, voting to get out may turn out not to be as achievable… as actual getting out!
“People should look at how the EU literally dictates all the terms and parameters …and ask themselves (if they were part of the 48%) why in goodness sake you would want to remain …Remain?”
