Apple's Genesis: How the trillion dollar company was born

In little over 40 years, Apple has become the world's most valued company. It all started with the meeting of two Steves: Jobs and Wozniak. They were introduced in 1971 by a mutual friend; Bill Fernandez, who was one of Apple's first employees. For the following 5 years, the two developed a friendship through the mutual love of technology. Jobs and Wozniak entered professional tech spheres while working for Atari and HP but were passionate about building their own devices. Both had joined a computer hobbyist group called, 'Homebrew Computer Club' where Wozniak showed off a homemade device in 1975. Jobs wanted to get on board, he decided that he and Wozniak would produce a device together in his parent's garage after he managed to amass some funds and a purchase order from a local tech store. Jobs, Wozniak and a business guide, Ronald Wayne formed the Apple Computer Co. on April 1, 1976, while they were still financing and building the Apple 1. The flimsy desktop computer was completed in July 1976 and sold for $666.66 because Wozniak liked repeating numbers, but he might have fooled some into believing he worshiped the devil.
