South Korea's foreign minister Kang Kyung-hwa says,... she's asked nearby countries for cooperation in the search for the missing.
Minister Kang said this... in a meeting on Monday... about the boat accident.
Serbia, Romania and other countries are known to have promised their active cooperation.
Kang highlighted how important it is to seek help from Hungary, saying she was able to better convey the South Korean government's point of view by physically being there.
She said she also asked her Hungarian counterpart for continued efforts in the investigation into what caused the accident and the measures taken after that.
