South Korea's foreign affairs minister says she's asked nearby countries for cooperation in the search for the missing in the Danube boat accident.
Minister Kang said this during a meeting on Monday about managing the boat accident in Hungary.
Serbia, Romania and other countries are known to have promised their active cooperation on the matter.
Highlighting how important it is to seek help from Hungary, Kang said she was able to better deliver the South Korean government's views by physically being there.
She said she also asked her Hungarian counterpart for continued efforts in the investigation into what caused the accident and the measures taken after that.
