IKEA Launches Furniture Series
Recreating Iconic Living Rooms IKEA has enlisted the help of Publicis Spain
to create the ‘Real Life Series,’ which is currently
running in the United Arab Emirates. The ‘Real Life Series’ aims to highlight the
diversity of IKEA’s products through pop culture
references that are relevant to all cultures. The series features three living rooms
modeled to look like exact replicas of
‘The Simpsons,’ ‘Friends’ and ‘Stranger Things.’ It is completely furnished from IKEA’s
inventory, with each living room conveniently
broken down into which IKEA items it features. Eduardo Marques, CCO of Publicis, said that it wasn’t
challenging finding the necessary furniture at IKEA. Eduardo Marques, via ‘AdAge’ It reportedly took two months to sift through
all of IKEA's products to find the perfect pieces.
