U.S. President Donald Trump threatened through Twitter on Thursday to impose a 5 percent tariff on all Mexican goods from June 10th until undocumented migrants stop crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.
According to the Washington Post, White House officials are looking at implementing the tariffs using a law which gives Trump broad power to impose import penalties during a "national emergency".
It added the final decision about how the tariffs would be implemented will be announced soon.
