North Korea says it remains committed to forming unified teams with South Korea at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
During a recent interview with Chinese media, Pyeongyang's Vice Sports Minister Won Kil-u said the joint teams are what the people of both Koreas want and are also in accordance with the spirit of the Olympics.
The International Olympic Committee had approved four unified teams in rowing, judo, women's basketball and women's field hockey for the upcoming summer games.
