Seoul's foreign ministry decided to file a criminal charge against a senior diplomat at the Korean embassy in Washington... who leaked the content of a recent phone conversation between Presidents Moon Jae-in and Donald Trump.
The decision was based on the severity of the issue.
In addition to the charge of leaking classified information, the man and two others from the embassy who failed to keep the information secret will be subject to a disciplinary hearing on Thursday.
