Hyundai has kept the pricing aggressive with the lowest variant costing Rs 6.5 lakh ex-showroom. Hyundai reasons that the move will help more people enter the segment at a time when the industry is seeing a cyclical slowdown. Areeb Sherwani spoke to Puneet Anand, senior general manager and group head for marketing at Hyundai India and asked him about the company's pricing strategy, investments for capacity expansion as well as Hyundai’s electric vehicle plans and BS-VI readiness.
