For the second day in a row, an air pollution alert was issued as a thick layer of smog overtook Mexico City, Mexico, on May 15. In response to the poor air quality, schools closed and people were urged to stay inside. Mexico City is the largest city in North America, with nearly 9 million people calling it home.
