미세먼지 '극복의지' 다진 광화문광장 '미세먼지 다이닝'

South Korea has been suffering from some of the worst levels of fine dust recently and to raise awareness of the issue, locals have created an outdoor restaurant in Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square,... where almost three-hundred people had dinner in the smog.
We connect live to our Choi Si-young who is at the scene.
So, Si-young, tell us what's it like there now?
"Well, Aram. People here have just finished their dinner that started about an hour ago.
Dining outdoors is a symbolic demonstration, showing that,... locals here are determined to fight the pollution.
Demonstrators here are calling on policymakers to draw up measures to reduce levels of fine dust.
And people here did more than just eat dinner. They actually measured the levels of fine dust before and after the meal,... to show just how serious the pollution is.
Let's take a listen to what the demonstrators have to say.
"Fine dust pollution is serious. I took part in today's event so good policies are rolled out to help people breathe cleaner air."
"An outdoor restaurant in Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square seemed meaningful, so I came. I think we should all take this issue seriously and find a solution."
Participants watched a documentary on how people are dealing with the dust pollution in their everyday lives...
Students of all ages called for a cleaner sky,.. and released around two-thousand white balloons.
And musicians also took part to liven up the event.
Former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon who now heads the presidential committee on climate and air quality offered his congratulatory remarks via video.
