Trump says he will meet Xi at G20 summit as trade war escalates

Amid the latest escalation in trade tensions between the two countries...
President Trump announced Monday that he'll meet face-to-face with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the G20 summit late next month.
"Maybe something will happen but we're going to be meeting as you know at the G 20 in Japan and that'll be, I think probably a very fruitful meeting."
He said he believes China wants to strike a deal... even as he called Beijing out for reneging earlier this month on key portions of the deal being negotiated between the two economic powers.
Trump added his administration is planning to provide about 15-billion dollars in aid to help American farmers whose products are targeted by China's tariffs.
