Trump, Xi to hold high-stake talks on trade on sidelines of G20 summit

Ok, so the comments from China's ambassador to the U.S. there. But let's touch on the issue of intellectual property theft by China -- the Trump administration is especially angry about this....

That's right.
Various countries, the latest being New Zealand... are blocking proposals to build 5G mobile networks by Huawei and ZTE, two of China's biggest telecom companies, because of national security concerns. They say the tech could be used for espionage, given the close ties between companies and the Chinese government.

"In terms of gaining the upper hand in advanced technology, the U.S. is pressuring China by claiming it's stealing intellectual property, while China is trying to develop its tech as fast as it can by absorbing it from the U.S."

Sounds like that expert thinks China is stealing IP from the U.S. Well, plenty to chew on this weekend when Presidents Trump and Xi hold their crunch meeting. Ji-yeon, as always, thanks for the report.
