Porn star Stormy Daniels ' attorney claims she was threatened with "physical harm" if she did not keep quiet about her alleged affair with Donald Trump .

The shock allegations were made on MSNBC's Morning Joe programme when attorney Michael Avenatti said Ms Daniels was physically threatened to stay silent.

He also claimed six more women have contacted him with 'strikingly similar' claims about Trump but admitted those "stories" have not been "vetted".

Ms Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was previously paid $130,000 (£94,000) to sign a gagging order before the Trump campaign.
