Pres. Moon gives letters of credence to 23 new ambassadors

Also today, President Moon Jae-in presented letters of credence to 23 newly appointed ambassadors in a ceremony at the Blue House.
Some of them are former officials who've worked with President Moon before, including South Korea's new Ambassador to China, Jang Ha-sung,... who served as chief policy advisor.
The new Ambassador to Japan, Nam Gwan-pyo, was also the second deputy chief of the National Security Office.
Among the newly appointed also included Lim Sung-nam, who's now Seoul's Ambassador to ASEAN.
Lim said he will do his best to create synergy among ASEAN member nations under the Moon administration's "New Southern Policy,"... and prepare for the South Korea-ASEAN and South Korea-Mekong summits, scheduled for November.
