Germany's hourly labor costs now 6th highest in EU at US$39

The average working hour cost in Germany rose to 35 euros or roughly 39 U.S. dollars last year.
According to the German Federal Statistical Office,...it's above the EU average of 29 dollars per hour.
It's over five times higher than South Korea's seven dollars-20 cents.
Germany's recent figure represents a two-point-three percent increase compared to 2017.
Western European countries have higher labor costs than Eastern European ones.
Denmark had the highest hourly labor cost at almost 45 euros, followed by Luxembourg and France.
