EU expected to urge S. Korea to ratify International Labor Organization agreements

In trade talks this week, the European Union is expected to urge South Korea to follow International Labor Organization agreements.
Korea's Trade Minister Yoo Myung-hee and EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom will meet in Seoul on Tuesday for the 8th meeting on the Korea-EU Free Trade Deal.
South Korea plans to ask for improved export conditions for Korean steel, automobiles, and pharmaceuticals.
The EU will ask for more efforts to fully practice the ILO agreements -- an issue the EU first brought up last December.
