Trump Wants 'Enemy Of The People' New York Times To 'Get Down' On Knees And 'Beg For Forgiveness'

President Trump again slammed the New York Times on Tuesday.

President Trump on Tuesday declared that the New York Times should "beg for forgiveness" over its coverage of his presidency.
"Paul Krugman, of the Fake News New York Times, has lost all credibility, as has the Times itself, with his false and highly inaccurate writings on me. He is obsessed with hatred, just as others are obsessed with how stupid he is. He said Market would crash, Only Record Highs!" Trump tweeted.
"I wonder if the New York Times will apologize to me a second time, as they did after the 2016 Election," Trump continued. "But this one will have to be a far bigger &  better apology. On this one they will have to get down on their knees & beg for forgiveness-they are truly the Enemy of the People!"
Trump has repeatedly slammed the press on Twitter.
"The Fake News Media is going Crazy! They are suffering a major 'breakdown,' have ZERO credibility or respect, & must be thinking about going legit," Trump tweeted last month. "I have learned to live with Fake News, which has never been more corrupt than it is right now. Someday, I will tell you the secret!"
And in another tweet in March, he wrote: "The Mainstream Media is under fire and being scorned all over the World as being corrupt and FAKE. For two years they pushed the Russian Collusion Delusion when they always knew there was No Collusion. They truly are the Enemy of the People and the Real Opposition Party!"
After the release of the Mueller report, a piece in the Washington Post noted: "If special counsel Robert S. Mueller III's investigation makes one thing clear, it's that many of the news reports that President Trump branded as 'fake news' were, in fact, very real news indeed."
