Extinction Rebellion stages 'die-in' under London's blue whale

Dozens of people lie under the skeleton of a blue whale in London to raise awareness of what some scientists are calling an upcoming 'sixth mass extinction'. The Extinction Rebellion movement has been protesting and blocking sites around London for a week, demanding the government to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to zero by 2025 and halt biodiversity loss. In the week since the movement began, over 1000 people have been arrested and 53 charged.
